The weekend has come to an end, and with that we say goodbye to the Roc City Tattoo Expo until next year. I didn’t wind up going today, but I went yesterday and Friday and had a lot of fun. I got tattooed, got to interview two excellent tattooers (keep your eyes peeled for those in the near future), and got to meet some new folks. There were some really great tattooers that attended, and I enjoyed just walking around and looking at some of the excellent work on display. On Friday, I got tattooed by Zach Nelligan in the afternoon, and couldn’t be more happy with how the tattoo turned out. On Saturday, I also got a little horseshoe by Nate Moretti. I was very close to getting a tattoo from JR Tubbs, but regrettable decided not to. Definitely won’t make that mistake next year. Here’s some lame pictures I took over the weekend:
- Inksmith and Rogers booth
- Gentleman tattooer Aidan Monahan
- Adrian Moses Clark
- Pepper Maher
- Keet D’Arms’ amazing banner
- Diego
- Clifton Boggs and the Eulogy Tattoo booth
- Krooked Ken
- my man Jet
- Krooked Ken and Kernal Tubbs’ booth
- Nate Moretti
- Ezra Haidet and Zach Nelligan’s booth
- HoriShige (Mo)
- HoriShige (Mo) again
- New tattoo courtesy of Zach Nelligan
I was pretty excited that the convention was held in May instead of August, as it has been in the past. This definitely made for a fun filled weekend. See ya next year Roc City Tattoo Expo. Thanks for reading.
